Practice

The second half of any sale.

We treat installation as the work, not the afterword. The summary below is what every order receives, written into the quote before we put a piece on the truck.

Phase 01

Site visit.

We come to you, or to your jobsite, before any quote is signed. We measure cabinetry openings, ventilation paths, voltage availability, and listening axes. We bring a tape, a level, a voltmeter, and a notebook.

A workbench laid with leather-craft tools, wooden mallets, brass scribes, and a steel ruler — the small instruments behind specification work.

Phase 02

Specification & drawings.

We produce simple, signed sheets — sectionals, plans, elevations — coordinated with your architect, millworker, electrician, and HVAC contractor. We do not pretend to be any of those trades; we make their work easier.

Drawings are issued before the deposit. If a piece will not fit a cabinet you've already had built, you will know on paper, not on delivery day.

Phase 03 — White-Glove Delivery

Boxed, banded, blanket-wrapped, leveled, signed off.

Pre-delivery

Walk-throughs of routes, doorways, and stairwells. Floor protection laid before any piece crosses the threshold.

Set in place

Two technicians, never one. Built-ins are leveled, sealed, and shimmed into millwork. Free-standing pieces are positioned by template.

Power and water

Connections made or coordinated with your electrician. Range hoods balanced. Refrigeration started 24 hours before first load.

Sign-off

A printed punch sheet is left on the counter. Nothing is closed until you have signed.

Take-back

The piece you replace, if any, is hauled, donated, or recycled — your choice, our cost.

Documentation

A bound binder of manuals, warranty cards, and serial numbers is left in the kitchen drawer of your choice.

Phase 04

Calibration and first-burn.

Audio rooms

Active monitors aligned with the room. Subwoofer integration measured, not guessed. Listening seat printed on the punch sheet.

Ovens and ranges

First-burn protocol run before you cook. Convection fans tested, oven doors leveled, hood draw measured.

Refrigeration & cellar

Compressors leveled. Wine cabinets allowed to settle for a full day before the first bottle is racked.

Phase 05

Aftercare on retainer.

An annual inspection plan is included for the first three years on every built-in we install. Belt drives, gaskets, seals, and hinges are checked on a fixed schedule. Manufacturer firmware is updated, when it exists, by us.

One number to call. Email reaches our shared inbox. We respond within two business days, faster when an appliance is down. We will tell you who is coming and when, and what the visit will cost, before they leave the office.
